My Very First Giveaway! Win "Stand by Me" on DVD!

Wow I am quick ain't I? lol I couldn't stand waiting too long to host my very first giveaway. I have been so lucky to win several giveaways myself, that I want to spread the joy! This film is a fantastic one and if you have never seen it, I highly recommend it! It's a goodie! For those who do not know anything about this film here is a brief description for you by Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide. Also included is a movie trailer for you to see.

"Based on the Stephen King short story The Body, Rob Reiner's easygoing nostalgia piece is set in Castle Rock, OR, over Labor Day weekend, 1959. A quartet of boys, inseparable friends all, set out in search of a deadbody that one of the boys overhears his brother talking about. The foursome consists of intellectual Gordie (Wil Wheaton), born leader Chris (River Phoenix), emotionally disturbed Teddy (Corey Feldman), and chubby hanger-on Vern (Jerry O'Connell). The boys' adventures en route to the elusive body are colored by the personal pressures brought to bear on all of them by the adult world. Richard Dreyfuss, playing the grown-up Gordie, narrates the film, while Kiefer Sutherland dominates every scene he's in as a brutish high-school bully."

The Joy of Moving...

Well I am moving into a new home... again. I swear I move once a year lol. But this time I have to admit, I am thrilled! We are moving out of a third story apartment into a house with no stairs, and I am so excited about that! We are almost completely packed up and will be headed out in a couple days. I hope this home will be a better one which I think it will be for all of us. =)

My Very First Blog Post!

Hi Everyone! Well, this is my very first post, and further more my very first blog! I have been seeing some amazing blogs and thought I might give it a go myself! Since this is my first one, I have a lot to learn about "blogging" so bare with me. I am hoping to use this blog to make new friends, express my views and hopefully do some reviews and loads more. Thanks for reading, lets see if I can survive! lol!

P.S. I hope to eventually host some giveaways even if I have to supply the prizes myself! Bare with me as I mentioned before it may take me a bit of time to get started. =)
